A passion turned into a business

We, at the bakery, decided to run a blog to teach you about our ethos and values that have inspired us in hope of inspiring you as well. We based this bakery on Buddhist values and teachings so in our first blog post we decided to share with you how this came to be.

We based our whole bakery and online bakery on our top 5 values because they are values that we believe that if everybody followed we would be on the path to world harmony.

Pāramitās (perfections)- We try to make sure everything at our bakery is perfect and suits your needs. We will always try to the best of our ability to make sure that you are satisfied with a perfect order.

Dāna (generosity)- If we have any food that is left over from the day we donate it to a food bank or to homeless people or people in need of food. We run service so that if anyone in our community is in desperate need of food we will provide it to them.

Paññā (wisdom)- Wisdom in terms of the Four Noble Truths so we follow and have accepted them. We live in the moment and look at the issues of the day and try and do our part in restoring peace.

Viriya (energy)- We put all of our energy into this and make sure we do our job to your standards.

Sacca (honesty)- We believe that it is really important to be honest to everyone no matter who they are. We are honest about everything and about what is in our food.
